CommonSpot Service Manager
Service Manager of CommonSpot, an enterprise level web content management system. Responsibilities included managing the centrally-hosted service for many highly visible campus websites, providing end-user and technical support, providing hands-on training on a one-on-one basis and in a classroom setting, and managing the vendor relationship and service contract. Gave presentations and demonstrations to campus on the benefits of using CommonSpot and CIT’s Web Hosting service. Worked with the CommonSpot Special Interest Group to develop solutions and standard practices for users on campus. Worked with individual groups to implement their own installation of CommonSpot. Led the effort to upgrade, migrate and test several web sites through two major versions and onto virtual servers.
ColdFusion Hosting Service Manager
Part of the team in the Cornell Information Technologies department that managed the central hosting service for many campus websites. Led and supported initiatives to expand and improve CIT’s hosting services. Helped draft the Hosting Service Agreements, and managed the effort to obtain customer sign-off and signatures in order to process those Service Agreements.

Interactive Media Group Lead
Worked in role of Group Lead with the responsibility as a liaison between the Interactive Media Group and other functional groups within eCornell. Developed and communicated to the rest of the company several process flowcharts, technical specifications, functional specifications, and job roles and responsibilities documents. Also worked on performance appraisals and action plans for members of the group.
Project Manager
Worked in the role as Project Manager for several special projects, such as, customization of course content for corporate partners and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Home Study Course’s online exams.
Web Developer and Programmer
Member of the Interactive Media Group who are the creative arm of eCornell to develop, design, and maintain interactive media for over 50 online courses, marketing material, and the website. Used Flash, ActionScript, and XML to create multi-media rich, complex, custom, interactive elements for the courses. Created collaborative interactives that interface with the database to store the students’ entries and display to the class the results. Used Dreamweaver to build and maintain the course content, generate online marketing materials, and update the eCornell website, www.ecornell.com. Worked with Cornell University faculty from the School of Hotel Administration, School of Industrial Labor Relations, and the Johnson School of Management to develop scenario and problem based courses from their material. Worked with Cornell Lab of Ornithology to build online exams for their Home Study Course in Bird Biology.

Programmer
Part of a team that designed, developed, tested, and deployed several MFC based software products and Active X controls, using Visual C++, and Visual Basic. Worked on application utilities for the software products using COM, MAPI, MISE, SQL, ODBC, and ActiveX technology. Wrote technical and functional specifications, and user documentation for the various products.
Designed, developed, and maintained the company website using HTML and JavaScript.

On the board of directors for a local non-profit who provides a facility and services to assist international students in Ithaca. Perform the duties of the treasurer, which include budgeting, bookkeeping, and managing the operating expenses of the organization.
